Objective

e-dmc is a "one stop shop" for creating, organizing, scheduling, purchasing and managing group travel programs. It has a "knowledge base" of critical destination information for all planning and purchasing needs. It helps meeting planners to cut down cost and time consumption tremendously. Before e-dmc.com, e-DestinAccess had a similar product running using Microsoft Access. Our key objective is to re-create the same application in the form of a web application and augment it with many new enhancements. The reporting functionality is also a huge requirement of this project. It requires fast data query and complex algorithm for calculation and automation.

Solution

e-dmc is an online solution to simplify meeting planning and group travel process. The challenge is to create an intuitive and simple flow for meeting planners to complete planning a project easily. Presentation of destination information is very important in this website. It requires both efficient functionality and good aesthetic value. We have put in considerable effort to include videos, photos and descriptions into the profile information of destinations. We also built an extensive reporting back-end capable of churning out complex reports at optimal speed.
