One Minute Fly; One Lifetime to Fly

CS Ling
by CS Ling at 6:50 pm

A friend of mine recently posted this video on my Facebook as this fly reminds her a lot of myself and my Life List.

When i first watched the clip, i laughed uncontrollably. This fly only has a very limited lifespan of 1 min and within this one minute, he has to accomplish a list of things before it dies. Before you know it, the 4 minute clip ended. The ups and downs, adventures and mishaps, happiness and sadness you experienced with the fly in the 4 minute clip has a deeper and more profound meaning than it seems on first glance.

You will never know when will be your last day on Earth, so live each day to the fullest. I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way, that time is not limited or unlimited. It's unmeasurable, you will never really know how much time you have left. Just like no one really knows how huge the Universe is.

An Earth day = average amt of time for Earth to rotate once about its axis = 24-hour day
An Earth year = 48 weeks ( 48 weekends is not a lot if you think about it, isn't it? )

What would you do if you are the 1-min fly?
