Friday, January 29th, 2010; we, at Techsailor, had our Office Warming 2010 party to celebrate our shift in location as well as to evangelize our business focus in Online Customer Engagement.

We had a total of about 40 visitors, including clients, mentors, advisors, investors, business partners, associates, fellow entrepreneurs and past employees checking out our new abode at 156 Macpherson Road; from the first arrivals at 5 PM right to the last to leave at 11 PM and after!

Above the usual networking, good food and typical event mumbo jumbo, we had, in place, twitter registration at the counter where guests would post a twitter message, guestbook style to @techsailorgroup. This would then be retweeted to management's twitter accounts then to our Facebook notifications (sorry for the spam :P) The tweets included the person's name, company and a message; they looked something like:

We had special door gifts for all our honoured visitors and that also has to be done social media style. :) Before the guests leave, we would take a photo with them, print it out and mount it on pre-prepared board stands (see above left picture). The base design is a browser window and we would print and mount the photos real time as well as leave a message in the comments box. It's personalized, social media driven and simply lovely to say the least. 

At around 6:30 PM, I gave a brief presentation on Techsailor's Online Customer Engagement solutions which aims to help businesses and brands retain and grow their customers. Online Customer Engagement entails Online Customer Communities to connect customers to businesses and Social Media Marketing to help businesses attain mass outreach. Being "glad" would be an understatement to what I'm feeling; I just want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all you fine folks who came down to grace our Office Warming and also to everyone else who offered their well-wishes. I would also like to acknowledge all our staff for making Techsailor's Office Warming 2010 a possibility.
