This is our 2nd Techsailor Tuesday! 
Rex was in Singapore for the week and Wayne is back from Australia with lots of chocolatey goodies, that's why we have decided to have another Techsailor Tuesday! on the same month in July! Without further ado, here are the highlights of Techsailor Tuesday! (14 July 2009).

Fisher

The news of Michael Jackson's death rippled through the office on June 25. And so to pay a tribute to the King of Pop, Fisher shared with us his favourite MV of MJ. Ghosts. This is the longest MV i have ever seen. The interesting bits were at the end where they show the making of the MV. It's amazing that MJ takes on so many different roles and i never would have guessed it was him behind all those make-up!

Rex

Rex was intrigued by a television series, Lie to me, that does crime investigation by reading into the minds of the criminal through microexpression. How do you tell a fake smile from a real one? 

We briefly watched the first 15 minutes of Episode 1. We started to think of scenarios where this microexpression reading can be applied to everydays life, and found it pretty cool yet scary. Can you handle the truth if your friend is lying to you?

Ashley

Ashley shared with us a Ted Talk by Elizabeth Gilbert about
A different way to think about creative genius.
Creativity applies to everyone in Techsailor, not just the design department :) Elizabeth's take on creativity and one's success is certainly refreshing.

There is no right or wrong. Some believe that talent comes from the divine, while others believe that if you have the passion for what you love to do, you will become a master at your craft. 10,000 hours no less.

Rujie

We have quite few photographers at Techsailor. Rujie was hooked on Lomography and started photographing light-hearted photos of everyday's life. He loves the "surprises" he gets after processing the film on paper. With lomography, it's about the spur of the moment, you photograph what you feel, not what you want. That's what his photographs told us.

Leon

One of Leon's obsession other than Philately, is Extraterrestial Life. There's an age-old debate on the existence of ET which i shall not try to attempt to do here.

Out of point but, i think the Flying theme of E.T by John Williams is a piece of art. Love it :)
