An Exciting Brief
We are an exciting web ventures and consulting company and we’re taking on more and more projects. We have grown from a 3 men startup to a 22 strong company in a couple of years. The excitement is too much to handle and we need more project managers to share the excitement, and add more stability to our team.
We understand that most fresh grads would not have management experience. We seek responsible, innovative, and keen learners to be web project management trainees, to be fast-tracked into a project management and client liaison role in our fast growing exciting company.
You must be an experienced web projects professional with an excellent understanding of how the web works, in the technical sense, and the people sense. You will take charge of project developments which include requirements gathering with clients, technical developments and user interface prototyping.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage team(s) of 3-5 web developers and web designers to design and implement web projects
- Establish project plan, resources, budget and deliverables
- Plan and manage all System Development Cycle, including feasibility studies, functional and technical specs, Test Plan, UAT and User Training.
- Guide team members in to implement scalable systems
- Work with Business Development Team to accurately scope and costing for web projects in consultation with clients and the development team
Requirements
To be successful, you will need:
- 2-3 years experience in project management
- 3-5 years web programming experience and experience in implementing php or .NET web solutions/ web parts/ mobile applications.
- excellent organizational and communication skills
To be really happy and well-paid, you will need:
- be passionate and proud of doing elegant, powerful and usable websites

Web Designer

As a Techsailor Web Designer, you would be exposed to :
- Providing front-end design for consultancy projects.
- Constructing user interfaces for web applications.
- Designing publicity and media items.
Hence, we would require you to be proficient in:
- Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash usage.
- CSS and HTML.
- Web design standards.
- Web usability.
- Designing prototypes for customers.
- Colors and general aesthetics
It would also be nice if you know:
- Illustrator
- Javascript and AJAX
