Rex comes from a Chinese family where everyone is into business. Since his graduation from high school, Rex had worked in direct sales, Burger King and relief teaching. During his college days in the National University of Singapore, he has pursued several ventures including air ticket sales, magazine publication and freelance software development. Rex has also worked in start-up companies in the mobile and video streaming industries. This diversity of experiences have effectively nurtured and developed Rex to a stage where he was able to uncover his calling in the Web. Consequently, Rex co-founded Techsailor in 2005 with 2 other partners, embarking on a venture into the vast domains of the World Wide Web.
Rex’s strengths lie in his analytical skills in problem solving and his persistent attitude towards constant learning and improvement. “Be humble and always have a keen mind to learn” has always been his guiding principle at work. Along with this thought, running a business is a constant uphill battle with a lot to learn and improve on; nevertheless, Rex has absolute faith that he and his team will make it.
Apart from work, Rex confesses to be quite a boring person except that he is a cat fanatic. In his residence in Guangzhou, China, he lives with his two cats, Mimi Meow and Nini Meow.
