CS Ling, Creative Director

Ling’s destiny in design has been sown since her then-rebellious teenage years. Uninspired by the education system and academia in general, her “after school hours” were mostly spent in front of the computer, where she can unleash her passion and creativity without having to worry about flunking those boring school tests. The only test that she takes seriously is the test of self. Learning the ways of the web on her own, she begins to design for her personal websites, as well as numerous fan sites for her then-favorite-boy-band, The Moffatts.  Ling started her first blog back in 1998 when blogs were then known as online journals.

Fast forward 10 years and several awards later, Ling is now sailing high on board with the Techsailor fleet as Creative Director, painting the web with bold, aesthetic and functional designs that communicate effectively to audiences. She always has a clear image of the perfect design that she has envisioned and will go the extra mile to ensure perfection in all her works. Her dedication in achieving the highest design quality in every project has brought Techsailor sailing beyond the conventional boundaries and on to new paradigms.

Aside from design, Ling is highly inspired by Photography, Music, Travel, Wildlife & Nature. In fact, she keeps a
Life List
of goals that she wants to experience and achieve in this lifetime. With 16 out of 98 achieved thus far, this list is constantly updated. Ling travels round the world on a mission to protect wildlife through her photography; one photo at a time.

She recently held her first ever solo exhibition, Wild Moments, sponsored by Nikon. 24 (also her age then) of her best works were displayed at 2902 gallery, the largest photo art gallery in Asia, for a month. It would also be interesting to know that Ling's camera gear actually weighs almost half as much as herself!

Her latest obsession aside from design and photography is playing music on her Yamaha STAGEA electone.
