Fisher was amongst one of the very the first batch of students from Singapore's Republic Polytechnic. The 3 years of PBL (Problem Based Learning) training in Republic Poly and his innately strong mathematical and logical thinking enabled Fisher to be a quick learner, a highly resourceful individual and an effective problem solver.
Prior to sailing with Techsailor, Fisher has already been pursuing careers in the Web and IT industry and his experiences span across different kinds of Web and Software systems in areas which cover finance, marketing, e-commerce, inventory, etc. Presently, Fisher is on the deck as an Assistant Project Manager.
Besides IT, Fisher has a diverse range of interests and talents. Back in secondary school in Shanghai (Fisher's hometown), he played for the school's basketball team and was also actively involved in track and field. He was the host for school events as well as a dancer for both the city's and the school's dance groups which have clinched awards in many competitions.
Fisher’s next dream is to own and run his own café some time down the road. Back when he was pursuing his education in Poly, he had also spent some time working in a restaurant. Unlike other kids who took on part time jobs merely for the extra pocket money, Fisher's motivation was to learn the various skills required to run an F&B outlet, including starting-up, operations, service as well as the fine arts of culinary.
